Tennis
Tennis is a popular option for the Rockport pupil. It is taught from Year 2-4 with the 'Tuff Tennis'. Sammy Tuff, a well-known Ulster coach, has been coaching the girls and boys for many years. Tennis is then entered into the weekly timetable for Years 4/5 and Years 6-9 are coached during the 3pm –4pm Games time. Senior School pupils have the opportunity to play tennis during their compulsory PE sessions.
Teams are entered each year into the Ulster Schools tennis leagues and individuals are encouraged to play in the Ulster Branch Tournaments throughout the tennis season. Rockport pupils have been selected and practise with Ulster squads in a number of age groups.
