Senior school
Entry from outside is by interview and assessment with core subject staff and consideration of past reports.
The compulsory school day for Senior School is until 3.30pm with the option of staying until 5.30pm to complete prep or to participate in clubs on offer.
All pupils have Careers on the timetable from Year 10 to Year 12. Pupils are encouraged to make use of the Careers Teacher who is willing to do research on their behalf. Year 12 performs one week of work experience in the winter term each year. Business Training Days are arranged for each year group.
Pupils leaving Rockport at sixteen will go to local Grammar Schools, Colleges of Further Education or Public School sixth forms. The hope is that they leave Rockport as rounded, confident individuals who have achieved qualifications relevant to their potential.
