We also provide Key Skills Level 1 Application of Number at Year 10 and provide Common Entrance tuition. Year 11 and 12 either take on Foundation or Higher Mathematics, again through AQA. Finally an Additional Mathematics option is also available.
In the Science Department, Year all years are taught by specialist Science Teachers. Again, Year 5 – 7 prepare for the 11+, and Years 8, 9 and 10 prepare for Key Stage 3’s and internal exams. At GCSE we offer Modular Biology and Double Award Science.
In ICT, R6 up have Mr Lockett as their ICT teacher and follow a programmes designed to develop all ranges of ICT skills. From Year 10 pupils will be expected to put these skills into practice with Coursework and Research modules. Again Key Skills Level 1 and 2 ICT is offered and pupils may go on to take the ICT GCSE option at Year 11 and 12.
