There can be quite a change from Year 7 to Year 8, as some Rockport pupils transfer after 11+ and many new pupils begin Rockport after 11+. The two years following 11+ allow opportunities for pupils to be ‘big fish’ in the ‘small pond’ and to have opportunities for responsibility.
