The Arts Faculty at Rockport encompasses four main areas: English, Music, Art and Drama.
These subjects are taught independently to GCSE level at the school and subject staff are housed within the purpose-built Centenary Arts Building which opened its doors on St. Patrick's Day 2006. Rockport is striving to establish itself as a Centre of Excellence for the Arts and the outstanding new facilities, coupled with the expertise and experience of the professional and dedicated Staff, mean that the school is well on course to achieving this aim.
The Faculty seeks to uncover the creative element within all children and foster a love of the Arts for their own sake, in addition to preparing pupils for public examinations.
All Rockport pupils are involved in the creative arts from an early age.
