Shooting
Shooting at Rockport dates back to the days of Mr Bing, the founder, when he and the boys used to do target shooting with .22 rifles down at the sea shore. In recent years regulations have become rather more stringent, and when new classrooms were built on the outdoor range behind the Tucker Hall, it was some time before another location could be found.
There is now an indoor range in the Sport's Hall, where pupils shoot .177 air rifles once a week during the Winter and Easter Terms.
