The Bronze practise expedition is a route, planned by pupils, around Tollymore Forest Park. The Bronze Qualifying Expedition is completed in the North Down Area.
The Bronze Qualifying Expedition takes place over two days and the participants have to walk between 24 km and 32 km, cook for themselves and set up their tent.
For some this was a new and very different experience, being self sufficient and responsible for finding their own way. A valuable skill!!
