Archery
In March 2006 Rockport started an Archery Club under the guidance of Mr Colin Reid. There was an enthusiastic take up of the sport from R7 upwards. The first season got underway with coaching in the basic skills along with intense Health and Safety lessons. Both the prep school and the Senior School had members and it was not long before some talented shooters emerged.
The club extended in 2007 with more equipment including using extra bosses, targets, stands and bows to allow the pupils to complete against each other. This Club is proving very popular and we hope to continue our success by introducing Inter-class and Inter-school competitions.
