Weekly
Boarding at Rockport is weekly. Children come to school on Monday morning and are collected on Friday at 5.30pm. They participate in the many evening clubs on offer and television is rarely switched on.
Junior whistle for Years 4-7 goes at 8pm when supper of cereal and toast is served. This allows the children to 'wind down' with their friends and lights are out by 9pm. Senior boarders follow the same pattern in the evening however as their age allows they have later lights out times varying from 10pm in Years 8 and 9 through to 11pm for Year 12.
Weekly boarding, for children aged eight to sixteen,
is a very attractive option for two working parents.
