Boarding
Boarding is available to both boys and girls on a full time (7 nights), weekly (4 nights) or casual basis for ages 8 to 16 years. The boarding house is unique within Northern Ireland situated in an idyllic setting on the coastline of the North Down peninsula. It has extensive grounds surrounding the school and it offers picturesque sea views with private access to the beach.
The daily routine provides a comforting structure for those who are away from home. Children are woken at 7.25am and have their breakfast at 8am, with the menu differing each morning. After breakfast the children make their final preparations to get ready for the school day which starts at 8.40am. Pupils can take part in clubs running from 4.30pm until 5.30pm when they get their tea. After which they can join in with evening clubs, relax and wind down with their friends over supper in the evenings. Boarding staff are available each evening to help any boarder with prep as required. Boarders are encouraged to practice playing their musical instruments if they have one.
