History
During this time the school grew to around 200 pupils and much building work was completed. A pre-prep section was also introduced.
The next Headmaster was Graham Broad, previously a housemaster at Gordonstoun with which the school still has strong links with children moving on from Rockport to spend two years in the sixth form there. Mr Broad was at the school for seven years and introduced the pre-school and daycare facilties.
Heather Pentland was the first female and first local Head. having begun her teaching career at the school in 1980 she took over the role in 1994 until 2005. It was Heather Pentland's vision that introduced the Senior School in 1998, thus making it possible for pupils to complete the whole of their compulsory education here at Rockport.
